Elk Hunting in British Columbia
There is nothing quite like hearing the bugle of a mature bull elk as the first rays of light break over the horizon. Elk hunting during the rut is extremely addictive and one of the most action packed hunts you’ll ever experience. Our area holds a good number of elk and seeing multiple bulls in a week is not uncommon.
Elk hunts are 10 days in length and can either be conducted 2 on 1 or guided 1 on 1. The season runs from Sept 1 to Sept 10 in our area so the elk see very little pressure. Elk must be 6 point on one side and we target mature bulls in the 280” to 320” range.
The days are fairly long at this time of the year so hunting is done primarily in the mornings and evenings when the elk are most active. Accommodations for the hunt will either be the main lodge or a remote cabin. Transportation and recovery of harvested animals during the hunt will be by ATV.
10 days 1 on 1 $9,000
10 days 2 on 1 $7,500
*Add on Black Bear for $180 U.S. license plus $1,500 U.S. trophy fee
