Moose Hunting - British Columbia
Welcome to the land of giants. Our moose are without question the largest Canadian moose available to hunt anywhere in the world. With the northern boundary of our territory running along the Yukon border for 100 miles the genetics in this region are nothing short of phenomenal. Resident pressure is non-existent due to the vast remoteness and limited access of the territory and we are the exclusive owners of the guide outfitting rights.
We target 50-60 inch plus bulls in the 180”-210” B&C range although some are definitely bigger. Big heavy paddles with giant fronts make these bulls stand out compared to many other regions. If you’re looking for a truly exceptional bull this is the place.
We access remote areas by ATV’s, river boats and bush planes. Spreading out the hunting throughout this massive territory allows us to keep the harvest pressure down and the quality of trophy up.
Hunting methods include spot and stalk in the early season while the moose are still actively feeding in the high country. As the temperature drops and the days become shorter the bulls become very responsive to calling. Calling over lakes, marshes, meadows and along rivers is a very effective way to bring these king sized bulls into close range.
Rifle, muzzleloader and archery are all very effective at this time of the year. Mountain Caribou can be added on to many of these hunts and depending on availability it may be possible to add on Grizzly also.
All moose hunts are 10 days in duration. These hunt lengths may be adjusted to add more days for an additional cost.
10 days 1 on 1 $14,000
10 days 2 on 1 $12,500 per person
*Add on Grizzly Bear for $1,050 U.S. license +$6,000 U.S. trophy fee.

Mountain peaks looming in every direction, the thick steep north faces are calling you to try, while the South face’s casual bogs and sedge grass peacefully remind you to manage your travel energy…….. If this is your call to the wild then this is your destination! 50-65” moose scoring 190-215 on average. Either of the three options here offer about the same success rates of 90% but it’s the horseback hunts that offer the highest chances at a true monster! Remote wilderness cabins and base camp will be your home here, however tent camping is a common place as well allowing the true adventure seekers to spike camp out reaching further and further into the wilderness here in search of your trophy. This is the adventure you have been dreaming of, this is the very best of the Yukon!
Hunts are all 1x1 hunts here in the Yukon!

Alberta - Moose
Float down a beautiful river, bask in the colours of autumn, and breathe the scent of a big rutting moose! It’s a thrilling adventure in the northern boreal swamplands. With your experienced moose guides you’ll learn the art of deception, deceiving the king of the ungulates in a thrilling calling battle during the peak of the rut.
You’ll be transported by boat along the river on which our camp is situated, its thick brush and swampland so the action will be up close and personal. No need for high powered spotting scopes here. This is great for the bow hunting enthusiasts as most shots will be made at close range.
Our camp on the river sits just south of the Northwest Territories border in some of the best moose habitat to be found in Alberta. Because of our northern location and extremely remote setting, the moose we hunt are true trophies. A decent percentage of our moose we take make the Boone and Crockett record book, and seeing 50"+ bulls with massive racks, tall pans and lots of points are possible. There are a few comfortable canvas tents in camp and expect hearty meals, which often include fresh moose and small game.
This package offers you seven days, with six full-days of hunting on the land.
The terrain is densely forested along the river and generally wet and boggy so sturdy waterproof hunting boots are a must. Temperatures can range from 32°F to 75°F in mid September and down to 25°F to 40°F by late September and early October. We encourage all hunters to purchase tags for black bear as its common to bump into them during your hunt. A wolf tag will be given to each hunter and NO trophy fee will be charged if you’re lucky enough to harvest one.

If client books in our upper moose camp which is only accessible by helicopter, an extra charter will be needed to fly out the moose (when harvested) and is the client’s responsibility. This may cost up to fifteen hundred dollars ($1500).
In the morning you will be picked up at the hotel in High Level and transferred to the helicopter base for the 30-minute flight to camp, arriving early afternoon. The following week, the helicopter will leave camp early in the afternoon for your return to High Level. You will be met at the helicopter base by an Adventure Northwest employee. You will then be transferred to the hotel in High Level for your flight home the following morning.
1. There is a strict weight limit of fifty pounds of gear etc. per hunter, on the helicopter. Please bring a soft gun case for travel in the helicopter.
2. Each hunter's hunting license is there export permit, if they wish to take the cape/antlers home on the plane with them. (The small airline that flies into High Level no longer accepts meat or antlers, if hunters wish to take antlers home with them I suggest flying to Edmonton and driving to High Level)
