Brooks Range - ANWR Dall Sheep
We offer hunts for Dall Sheep, Grizzly Bear, Barren Ground Caribou and Wolf in the North East portion of the Brooks Range Mountains, situated in world famous Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Our outfitter operates in a Sole Guide Use Area, under a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Special Use Permit. The guide area is located in the Mollie Beattie Wilderness portion of the Refuge. The Mollie Beattie is the second largest wilderness area in the U.S., which is approximately 8 million acres.
Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR)
Arctic Refuge, which altogether encompasses nearly 20 million acres, is some of the most pristine, remote, untouched wilderness in all of Alaska. It will certainly leave a lasting impression on you. Once you see the sheer expanse and vastness of this area, you will never forget it. Simply put, there is nowhere else like it.
The guide area, consists of the Hulahula River and waters which drain into it, is bordered by the Franklin Mountains to the West and the Romanzof Mountains to the East. To the South is the Continental Divide and due North is the Arctic Ocean. This area has some of the highest most rugged peaks in the entire Brooks Range, including Mount Chamberlin (8,901 ft) and Mount Michelson (8,855 ft) and Okpilak Glacier. It is truly spectacular country. The main valley of the Hulahula River is about 2500 ft and we spend most of our time at this elevation, taking most of our sheep at the 4,000 to 5,500 ft range. This portion of the Brooks Range has excellent mountain habitat which has supported some of the highest sheep population densities in the entire range.

BROOKS RANGE - Alaska Dall Sheep
This is a family business operated by an actively working guide/outfitter, hunter and outdoor enthusiast. The goal is to run a first class operation and be a leader in the industry, specializing in hunting for trophy Dall Sheep, Barren Ground Caribou and Arctic Grizzly.
Hunts are one-on-one fully guided, fair chase backpack hunts. The focus will be on traveling by foot to remote drainages within the guide use area (GUA), targeting older rams (9-10yr average). This will assure the refuge with low impact, high success rates and the client with a world class experience in a remote wilderness unaltered by humans.
Most other sheep hunts known as backpack hunts are merely just a hike out of a set spike camp. We pride ourselves on running long-range no trace, true backpack sheep camps, almost never sleeping in the same spot for more than one night.
Dall Sheep 1x1 guided $19,600
Trophy Fees are for additional species:
Wolf No Fee
Wolverine No Fee
All prices include charter to Kavik and back unless you miss travel dates or need a special flight for yourself – such as leaving before scheduled pickup.
